The journal publishes original experimental and theoretical articles and reviews on the most pressing issues of solid-state physics, materials science, experimental techniques, condensed media, nanostructures, and the study of thin-film surfaces and interphase boundaries. Particular attention is paid to the use of modern analytical methods. Priority is given to articles and reviews devoted to the production and diagnostics of new nanomaterials.
